A distinguished alumna of Marshall University, Lydia accomplished the remarkable feat of earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science within a condensed two-year timeframe. Her academic journey included specialized concentrations in Constitutional Democracy and Public Policy, showcasing her dedication to understanding the intricate facets of governance.

Lydia’s journey into the realm of politics commenced in her home state of West Virginia, where she immersed herself in the intricacies of legislative processes through an internship in the West Virginia House of Delegates.

In 2019, Lydia embarked on a significant chapter in her professional career as a White House Intern in the Trump Administration. During her time there, she demonstrated her prowess in the field of communications, contributing her skills to both the White House Communications and Press Offices.

Building on the invaluable experience gained at the highest echelons of government, Lydia transitioned seamlessly into the role of Advance Associate, specializing in Media Relations for the Trump-Pence 2020 re-election campaign. In this capacity, she aided in orchestrating the coordination of national and regional media coverage for Presidential, First Family, and Surrogate campaign events, leaving an indelible mark on the success of the campaign.
